Linda - Herne Hill - School English

Linda has been tutoring my son for 11 plus English for some years now.

I have seen my son blossom, he loves his lessons with Linda and has progressed tremendously.

He did not particularly like English and Linda has worked with him to now have a passion for the subject.

He now actually enjoys the subject and can confidently write with creativity.

Linda worked with our daughter for over a year. She gave her both strategies and confidence to tackle her literacy homework and view it with enthusiasm and confidence. She helped her to enjoy the subject.
Linda's easy, relaxed and friendly manner were a definite hit with our daughter, aged 10.

My daughter's language skills and confidence have been transformed under Linda's exceptional tutoring. Charlotte has dyspraxia and elements of language delay which meant her speech and conversational skills were poor, The result of her weekly sessions with Linda were amazing, and she got into the school of our choice, and converses with ease and stands taller. Linda is a wonderful person with a welcoming and fun style of working with children. I would thoroughly recommend her.

Linda is organized, efficient, extremely competent, and has an excellent rapport with children of all ages. I am glad to say that it is because of her that my children developed immense interest in English and also within that short period of time they had shown good progress. When she was teaching my children she was a perfect blend of strictness and kindness. She is excellent in recognising a child's potential as well as weaknesses, apart from being very dedicated and sincere.

Linda is a creative, nurturing and extremely patient tutor who excels at getting the best out of students. She provides engaging, age appropriate, interactive lessons tailored to each of my daughter's (5 and 10) needs and LAMDA levels. Both my daughters enjoy being taught by Linda. In addition to achieving their LAMDA qualification, the 1-1 lessons have helped enormously with my daughters confidence speaking and performing.

Linda is an excellent tutor, she helped to prepare Julian to excel in his Common Entrance examinations and helped him study to gain entry into one of the most sought after and privileged High School's in London. Linda's tuition empowered Julian and gave him the confidence and belief that he can achieve his academic best
