Hi! I’m Jia Lu, and I’m currently a student too, so I understand how tough it can be to learn a subject—especially one like Chinese. As a young teacher with prior 2 years of experience, I’m able to relate to my students better, understanding the challenges they face in learning Chinese and making lessons more engaging and relevant. I don’t believe in just rote memorization—learning Chinese should be something students can apply in real life, whether in conversations, writing, or exams. I keep lessons interactive with storytelling, discussions, and practice papers, breaking down difficult concepts into simple, relatable ideas. Being closer in age also helps me connect with students on a deeper level, creating a more comfortable and supportive learning environment. My goal is not just to help them improve their grades but also to build their confidence and interest in the language, so they see Chinese as something useful and enjoyable rather than just another subject in school.
