Perfect! I have been taking weekly Korean classes with Hyunmi for about one year and I definitely recommend her.
She takes great care in preparing and tailoring each class for her students' needs and tastes. She provides all the materials and uses multiple supports to make sure all the main areas are covered (grammar, vocabulary, short stories, songs) and she makes the class so fun that it never feels like studying! Nonetheless, I have been making a lot of progress in this year with her, which has been noticed by my Korean colleagues; this is probably the best satisfactory factor!
On top of her seriousness and dedication, Hyunmi is very flexible in terms of time and location.

Perfect! I have been studying Korean with Hyunmi for almost a year and have found her to be a wonderful tutor. One thing that I have been particularly impressed with is the fact that she produces her own materials for our lessons which she will often tailor to my interests, for example incorporating references to popular culture. These lesson plans are incredibly comprehensive and contain many useful examples from which I have been able to formulate my own sentences, something that I didn’t have the confidence to do when attending an evening class (during which I learnt sentences by rote without necessarily understanding the grammar behind them or how to apply it).

As a native Korean teacher Hyunmi has also been able to share with me lots of interesting anecdotes about Korean culture and has been eager to educate me on what music and TV programmes I ought to be listening to and watching!

She is a warm and kind person with a patient teaching style and I always look forward to her lesson.
