I am a professional American Sign Language (ASL) tutor and interpreter with over 6 years of hands-on experience in teaching, interpreting, and facilitating communication between Deaf and hearing individuals in both educational and professional settings. I hold a certification in Teaching American Sign Language from the Clerc Center, Gallaudet University, Washington D.C., USA, one of the most recognized institutions globally in Deaf education and American Sign Language studies. This training has equipped me with strong pedagogical skills in American Sign Language instruction, Deaf culture, and effective communication strategies for diverse learners. In addition to my American Sign Language (ASL) expertise, I am also a certified English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) teacher, which strengthens my ability to teach language in a structured, simplified, and learner-friendly way. This combination allows me to support learners not only in mastering signs but also in understanding how to communicate meaningfully and confidently across language barriers. I don’t just teach you to memorize signs; I help you understand how to use them naturally with the right hand movements, facial expressions, and body language. Whether you are a complete beginner or someone who has tried American Sign Language (ASL) before but struggled, I will meet you at your level and guide you at a comfortable pace until you build confidence. This lesson is perfect for teachers, students, parents, caregivers, healthcare workers, or anyone who simply wants to connect better with the Deaf community and promote inclusion. By the end of our lessons, you won’t just know the American Sign Language, you’ll be able to communicate, understand, and confidently interact with American Sign Language in real situations.
