About Tamsin
I am a dedicated piano tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience and a BM in Jazz Piano Performance. My background allows me to approach piano not only as a solo instrument but as a powerful collaborative tool. I specialize in teaching different types of piano accompaniment for vocalists, instrumentalists, and choirs. Working closely with others is at the heart of what I teach. I focus strongly on reading lead sheets, transposing on the fly, and developing rhythmic sensitivity. Adapting quickly to different musical styles is a core part of my training. I believe great accompanists listen as much as they play. My teaching style is student-centered and highly flexible. I work with school students as well as adult and professional accompanists. Each lesson is tailored to real musical needs. I’ve guided students from Beginner to Advanced levels. I’ve also supported Professional and Expert-level musicians.
