About Poppy
I am a French tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Education in French as a Second Language. Over the years, I have worked with many complete beginners, helping them take their very first steps in learning French. My approach is patient, encouraging, and sprinkled with humor to make every lesson enjoyable. I believe language learning should never feel dull. That’s why I use games, skits, flashcards, and storytelling to bring grammar and vocabulary to life. These methods keep students engaged while also making difficult concepts easier to remember.
