About Leah

I have been travelling the world alone for the last 10 years and started to teach while I was abroad in places like Mexico, Brazil, Thailand and Peru. I now have my TEFL Certificate and a huge passion in cultures, meeting people and being able to open up opportunity and build communication for people all around the world. To teach English, as an English person, gives me great privilege and I really look forward to helping others in this incredible skill of talking, listening, reading and altogether, understanding English. Please say hello and see if I am the right teacher for you.

About the class

My teaching style blends professionalism with a friendly and welcoming approach, creating an environment of ease for effective language learning. Acknowledging the challenges of acquiring a new language, I prioritise patience and adaptability, customising lesson formats and teaching styles to suit individual student needs. With vast experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, I maintain a positive, open-minded, and inclusive attitude in all interactions. I have been teaching English abroad across the world for years and love what I do. I speak advanced Spanish for any Spanish speaking students.

Leah is an extraordinarily gifted photographer and artist in her field. As someone with eighteen years of leadership experience in education, I can say with confidence that Leah is also an outstanding teacher. Rarely do you find someone who is brilliant in both spheres. She is able to relate to and communicate with people of all ages and makes lessons interesting, memorable and constructive. To have lessons with Leah is a privilege. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
