About Susan

I am a native Chinese speaker who is passionate about the Chinese language and culture.
I am naturally patient, empathetic and good at sensing each learner’s comfort level.
I understand that starting a new language can feel daunting. That’s why I believe a relaxed, non-judgement-free environment is essential for progress.
I enjoy helping students build confidence, improve practical skills and discover the fun of learning Chinese.

About the class

My classes are relaxed and tailored to each learner’s pace and goals.
Whether you are starting from zero or want to improve your daily conversation, pronunciation, reading or simple writing, I will design suitable activities for you.
I avoid boring repetitive drills. Instead, we use simple games, topics you love and real-life scenarios to practise Chinese.
I welcome both children and adult learners for one-to-one sessions. Online lessons are available.
