About Ann-Katryn
I have always had a passion for learning languages. I love my language and teaching it to non-French speakers around me as I have an ability to simplify generally complex concepts. Originally from Quebec, I am fluent in the various forms of French used throughout the Francophonie, including international French, French from France, and Quebec French. This knowledge allows me to shed light on the nuances of vocabulary, expressions, and usage specific to each, thus offering a more complete and authentic view of the French language. Lately, I started giving lessons to a friend and he is progressing well which gave me confidence to share my understanding of this dear language of mine more officially on this platform. I believe that understanding the mechanics of a language is key to the learning process to eventually get to speak it. My approach to teaching French revolves around getting you to integrate the fundamental notions with concrete explanations and practical exercises tailored to your level. During an hour or more, depending on your needs, you will get to develop your skills, make links between notions and previous knowledge and easily practice pronunciation and conversation in a judgment-free and patient environment.
