About Savita

I find inspiration in books like "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle, "the silence of the Mind" by Ilie Cioara, "I Am That" by Nisargadatta Maharaj, the teachings of Ramana Maharshi and Osho, the "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramhansa Yogananda and "Light on Yoga" by BKS. Iyengar. I have been practising various types of body movements- pilates, strength training, yoga for over a decade. The books, my lifestyle and above all, life itself shifted the focus of my practice to constantly heighten awareness of the body, the mind and the breath, thus bringing the mind into a state of stillness. Additionally, I have undergone a 200-hour Yoga teacher training course.

About the class

You can still your mind during meditation only to lose it all when getting back to daily life? Using simple tools of breathing, focusing on the third eye and/or sometimes going the zen way with no tools at all- simply being- we heighten awareness of the body, the breath, the self in meditation and carry it during daily activities, dealing with situations, and interacting with people. When we eat, we eat, we do not think about eating, comparing or other things. Thus being rooted in the self - unlimited power, creativity, love, wisdom flow. All we do is access the stillness within usually hidden under a layer of anger, anxiety, sadness, restlessness, or random thoughts we do not need. Together, we shall enjoy some breath work, meditation, pranayama (yogic art of breathing), yoga asanas- slow movements of the body while being completely aware of the body and the breath.
