About Lisa
I have led worship music within a Latin community for years, and that warm, communal background shapes almost everything about how I teach guitar today. Thirteen years into teaching now, I've worked with about three hundred students, many of them drawn to community and church music specifically, though I welcome students with any genuine musical goal. My worship background gives me genuine, lived insight into building musicians who play generously for others, not just for themselves in isolation. I work particularly well with students seeking a warm, supportive, community-minded learning environment rather than a purely competitive or isolated one.
