About Naia
I am a drama, performing arts and LAMDA exam teacher whilst also pursuing my own career as an actor! (For example, I played Roshi in the UK tour of Wonderboy by Ross Willis!)
I have a Grade 8 in classical singing and a 1:1 BA Hons degree from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA.)
I grew up with incredible teachers and tutors who not only inspired me but changed the way I viewed my craft and myself. My confidence soared and my drive to improve myself never left me because of them and I knew that in some way I wanted to give back. Teaching is a true passion of mine and something I find a lot of joy in and I hope to spread my love of the arts through the lessons I deliver.

As a teacher, it’s my job to make things clear and interesting for you - but everyone is different! No two students are the same and I let my lessons reflect that. Some people prefer to get straight to it and get monologues/songs up on their feet. Others prefer talking through context and character background. Some like to hear it first before beginning a process. There is no wrong way to learn and I hope that together we can find what works best for you and begin your creative journey. Patience, communication and kindness are the key to growth and confidence in learning and working towards a goal.

This will be a “get to know you” session where we will talk about your goals, objectives and any skills you’d like to particularly improve on/explore. We will also explore a monologue/song so I can get an understanding of your ability. This will then allow me to create a lesson plan that is specific to your needs and focuses!
