About Angie
I love teaching foreign languages. I love the science and art of language. I love the challenge of understanding my students' needs and tailoring the class to them in a fun, creative way. In my classes, I like to find a balance between making my students comfortable and giving them a good, fun challenge. I'm also a global traveler, having visited more than 30 countries around the world, often in places less-traveled.

My lessons will be purposeful, targeted, and based on personal experience as a Korean-American who has traveled many times to her parents' homeland and has absorbed and acquired valuable knowledge and tips throughout her trips. I speak the language and understand the country from a unique perspective of being both a foreigner and someone with deep roots in the country and its culture. I am also very well-traveled, so can empathize and advise from the perspective of travel in general.

I'm a foster parent who hired Angie to tutor my refugee teen, who has struggled to communicate in English despite having some knowledge of the language. Angie not only tailored lessons at the appropriate level, she put a lot of energy into working on conversation and pronunciation. Angie also provided homework to reinforce all of the lesson topics. She organized all the classwork and homework in Google Drive, making it easily accessible and reviewable. I can't thank Angie enough for all of her work!
