About Yahya
My name is Yahya and I’m a 2nd year Dental student at King’s College London with a strong academic understanding of how to get the top marks that we all work towards. Securing 8 grade 9s at GCSE and securing a spot at King's College London for dentistry, I understand how competitive exams and applications can feel, especially when aiming for high grades or courses like dentistry, which are becoming more and more competitive year on year.
I'm an experienced and reliable tutor who'll take the time to explain things clearly in different ways until they’re properly understood. I also keep lessons structured and tailored to my students, so there’s always a clear goal, whether that’s improving content knowledge or exam technique.
Alongside tutoring GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Business studies, I’ve also supported multiple applicants through dentistry interview preparation, helping them build their interview answers and secure multiple offers.

Dentistry interview preparation available. Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Business studies GCSE tutoring available too.
Before each session, I ask students what they’re struggling with so I can plan the lesson around their needs. The lesson is fully tailored to the student, so we focus on their weak areas, their goals and what will make the biggest difference to their grades.
I teach in a structured but simple way, making sure understanding comes first before moving onto exam-style questions and past papers. I break topics down step by step so they’re easy to follow, then gradually build up to applying them under exam conditions. I also focus on exam technique and common mistakes so students can pick up marks more effectively.
Students are also welcome to message me in between sessions if they have any questions or get stuck on something. I’m always happy to help outside of our sessions as well!
