About Lara

Hello there! My name is Lara Nevin, I am 20 years old with a TEFL certificate and a whole lot of teaching experience. Last year I took a gap year to Holland to look after young children and now this year I am working part time jobs (currently looking after a girl from China, teaching her English everyday) to save up enough money to become a teacher in Vietnam!!
If you need any help learning basic conversational English, let me know. I am happy to help. (any ages)

About the class

Through my TEFL course I have learnt various ways of teaching. There is one specific one that I am fond of and that is the PPP method (present, practice, production)
I think allowing students to interact with one another and grow conversational skills is so important, so I usually introduce a very conversational and verbal approach to my teachings.

Lara is definitely not your average, in the box, draw in the lines kind of girl. She is creative and inquisitive and brave. She explores other ways of doing things. She is not restricted by boundaries that would stifle her learners. She will find fun and exciting ways to get the learner keen and eager to try harder, learn willingly and come back for more. She is a passionate person and she is never afraid to stay true to herself.
