This course is for students (OOP, collections, mandatory projects, exams), developers coming from Python or JavaScript who are moving to a strongly typed language, and career changers targeting banking, insurance, and industry IT systems where Java remains dominant.
My method: you build a real application from the very first lesson; each concept (inheritance, interfaces, streams, JPA) is added to your ongoing project and tested immediately, no theoretical OOP across 30 slides. On the program: Java 17+ (full OOP, lambdas, streams, Optional), essential design patterns, collections, JDBC, then Spring Boot (REST, validation), Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Spring Security, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, Docker.
Observed results: first object oriented application within 4 weeks, Spring Boot application with database within 10 to 12 weeks; several students landed a junior Java developer position after 12 to 14 weeks. Formats: one off, regular (10 to 14 weeks), or intensive. Basic programming knowledge recommended. First 30 minutes free: Java installed and first working class built together.
