About Florence

Flo is a researcher at heart and has a deep desire to teach and inspire others. At the moment, she is finishing her PhD in Applied Linguistics. She loves exploring the patterns in languages around the world and is always up for a discussion on language-related issues and phenomena. In her free time, Flo enjoys being among children, teaching and equipping them with the knowledge and values to be better world citizens. Since finding her way into coding, Flo is often excited to discover the numerous similarities between coding and linguistics. Her background in Child Language Learning during her linguistics training informs her conviction that children can acquire as many languages as they are exposed to, including programming languages. She truly believes that each and every person can successfully learn and love coding.

About the class

Private tutoring is catered to each and every individual student. There is are two introductory class covering the basic concepts of programming and the pace of the class depends on the individual and the projects that you would like to build. It is best to purchase a set of 4 lessons so that I can get a gauge of how to pace the lessons for you such that you’ll enjoy the pace and the contents of class without needing to speed it through Happy learning!
