About Emma
Hello! My name is Emma, I am currently a first year law undergraduate student in Surrey and I have (believe it or not) a real passion for maths. This started when I was very young, I grew up around this world, loving the logic and the methodical approach one needs to have in order to understand it.
As the child of an expat family, maths was always the subject which I could always understand. This is exactly why I love the subject, as it made sense no matter what language I studied it in.
I am hoping to transfer my passion for the logic of it to my students as I am a firm believer in the idea that the skills you learn in maths really can benefit you in whatever you wish to take on.

At GCSE Level (from year 9 to 11), I can do my best to provide past exam questions and help the student understand how to reason and answer the questions in a way which is methodical. If there are any gaps that need to be filled in their understanding of the content, I can provide tailored examples and questions to help fill those.
A typical class should last about an hour in order to make as much progress as possible, whilst also maintaining an atmosphere that is as stress-free as possible.
I have just graduated from the International Baccalaureate where I completed an advanced course in maths. During my time at that school, I tutored the year below me to help their understanding of the course. I also had a similar experience tutoring GCSE maths when I was in Year 11.
