About Kaitlyn

I am an industry technical specialist with a dual degree in chemistry and biochemistry with specializations in biology and communication. Using an individualized approach, I work with students from varying backgrounds and skill levels . Whether you're an undergrad seeking support for your intro chemistry course, a high school student looking for a guide to the SAT, or a current professional returning to school, I have the experience to effectively meet you where you are and guide you to achieve your goals.

About the class

My methodology involves fostering an environment which encourages each student to be an independent learner. My goal is to guide you to the point where you no longer need me. I'll know I've succeeded as soon as I'm out of a job. I specialize in math (algebra 1 & 2, geometry, and trigonometry), SAT math, chemistry (high school, AP, IB, college), and biology.

Kaity is my best friend. I've known her for over 8 years. She is the most hardworking, determined person I know. She and I took an honors chemistry course together. She understood the material very well, and I did not. She would always offer to help me and wouldn't stop until I got it. She was dedicated to helping me understand concepts that wouldn't click, and would spend hours with me until I finally understood it. I personally recommend her because she is very intelligent and patient, two aspects of an exceptional tutor.

I was really struggling with algebra so I decided to find a tutor. Luckily I found Kaitlyn and she was able to help me understand my coursework a lot more and explain it in a way that I could retain the information easier. I was able to pass my course because of her and was able to get to a point where I did not need to see a tutor anymore. I am forever grateful for her time and expertise!

Kaitlyn is the only reason I passed chemistry. My professor wasn't helpful and Kaitlyn was able to explain things in a way that made sense to me. She comes up with weird, but funny ways to remember things that actually stuck with me.
