About Amey

I am Dr. Amey, a researcher and educator working at the intersection of fluid dynamics, microbiology, and public health. With training from IISc and experience in advanced experimental research, I bring real-world scientific insights into the classroom. My work on bacterial transport and droplet dynamics reflects a strong interdisciplinary foundation, which I translate into engaging and application-oriented teaching.
I am committed to creating a supportive, intellectually stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and connect theory with practice. My approach emphasizes clarity, curiosity, and mentorship, ensuring that students not only understand concepts but also develop confidence to apply them in research and industry.

About the class

I adopt an interactive, concept-driven teaching approach, integrating theory with real-world applications. Classes begin with fundamentals, followed by problem-solving and discussions. I emphasize interdisciplinary learning and research exposure. My teaching is student-centric, fostering critical thinking, and is primarily aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students.
