About Shannon
Do you want information about your new English teacher, her qualifications, and interests? I have a University degree from the University of Queensland majoring in English and Japanese. Complemented by ESL SIT training, over 20 years of experience in ESL teaching privately, in private schools in Japan and Australia as well as public speaking through our local Toastmasters club, I really enjoy helping people increase literacy skills in a fun way. I give lessons in person in Noosa, Australia, and online through Zoom. Perfect! A good Teacher possesses qualities like care, compassion, commitment and patience and Shannon has all of these qualities in abundance. My daughter who was initially sceptical and reluctant to attend online English class, now eagerly waits for Shannon's class. We as parents could not help our daughter develop the interest in reading books but now she likes to read books and it's all because of Shannon. Shannon's play based learning method has worked wonders for our daughter. Thank you for instilling this love of learning into our child and putting our minds at ease. We are so grateful to have you as our child’s teacher.

I taught English for over 20 years up to University tutoring level. I also helped my friend's children who struggled to read. I worked with Shannon for two years.
