About Mona
I have been plant-based since 2014. I have experienced all lifestyles in regards to food. I was raised on the Standard American diet, which includes a lot of animal products, lots of starches, and lots of processed and packaged chemical-laden, additive-laden foods. I havetried the Weston A. Price diet, composed of raw fish oils, raw milks, bone broth, and organ meats. I have been a junk-food vegetarian (basically the Standard American Diet minus the animal meats, cheese and processed foods still ago). I have been vegan. And most recently, I have been a raw vegan. I have also done juice and fruit fasts, which should always be done with care.

My teaching method is to learn what the student's goals are, what their budget is, what their favorite foods are. And from there, show them how the digestion process works, including which bacteria and organisms in the digestive tract cause which cravings. Also, the students will learn where to shop for healthy foods within their budgets, and students will also learn to make their favorite recipes plant-based and delicious!
