About Jodi
Hi, I’m Jodi! I hold a BSc in Biomedical Mathematics and a BSc Honors in Applied Mathematics, and I’m currently completing my Master of Engineering Science in Biomedical Engineering. I’ve always had a genuine passion for Math and the Sciences, and I find real satisfaction in helping students see that these subjects don’t have to be intimidating.
I have hands-on experience tutoring Grade 11 Math and Accounting, where I learned that patience and clear explanations make all the difference. I focus on meeting each student where they are and believe that no question is too basic, and no concept is too difficult to break down.
I am driven and hardworking, and I bring that same energy to my tutoring. I’m committed to helping my students build confidence, improve their marks, and genuinely understand the work rather than just memorize it.

I believe every student can succeed in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Accounting when concepts are broken down clearly and simply. My approach is patient and structured as I take the time to identify where a student is struggling, then explain the underlying concept in a way that actually clicks before moving on.
Lessons are hands-on and exam-focused. I use plenty of practice questions and past papers so that students don’t just understand the theory but can confidently apply it under test conditions. I tailor each session to the individual learner’s needs, whether that’s catching up on fundamentals or pushing for a distinction.
My lessons are aimed at high school students (Grades 8–12) and I teach in English. With a BSc in Biomedical Mathematics, an Honours in Applied Mathematics, and a Masters in Biomedical Engineering currently underway, I bring strong subject knowledge across all four subjects.
