I am a holder of a PhD in chemistry and have over four years postdoctoral experience. During my time working in academic laboratories, I have worked as an undergraduate laboratory demonstrator and have provided more informal teaching to both undergraduate and PhD students.

As a holder of a PhD in chemistry with substantial postdoctoral experience, I am comfortable teaching both A-level and undergraduate chemistry students. My specific areas of expertise lie in inorganic, organic and polymer chemistry.
As a tutor I would be happy to tailor lessons to suit each individual student, although I have always found tutorial-style lessons (questions set and attempted by the student in advance of the lesson, with the full answers/explanations being given in the lesson) to be an effective method of teaching.
