About Silvia

I help non-native English or Spanish speakers master the language in a practical, engaging way. My approach focuses on real-world communication skills and cultural understanding, ensuring students gain the confidence they need to thrive in an English-speaking environment. Join my class and experience language learning that's effective, relevant, and tailored to your needs.

Ayudo a personas no nativas del idioma inglés o Espanol a dominar ésta lengua de manera práctica . Mi enfoque se centra en la adquisición de diferentes habilidades para dominar situaciones de comunicación reales. Ayudo a mis estudiantes a adquirir la confianza necesaria para que utilicen esos recursos en condiciones reales, en un mundo globalizado en el que el uso de la lengua inglesa es una herramienta vital de nuestro dia a dia.

About the class

I strongly believe that you learn by speaking a language and by utilizing the language meaningfully. Students must feel motivated and engaged in their learning. I propose to follow a communicative approach in which the students' needs are taken into account. Meaningful tasks that resemble real-like situations in life.

Sylvia is an outstanding Spanish teacher who makes learning fun and engaging. Her flexible approach to teaching incorporates real-world insights, practical idioms and natural dialogue, and also creates an encouraging space where making mistakes feels like a natural, low-pressure part of the learning process.
I started my lessons with some familiarity of Spanish- Sylvia kindly tailored her lessons to suit my learning needs which focused on natural dialogue but includes lesson plans, building vocabulary, and understanding grammar.
I would highly recommend Sylvia as a teacher! She provides the ideal balance of challenge and encouragement to help you reach your language goals.
