About Lisa
I am a qualified teacher with 15+ years experience. I have worked in highly academic schools in the UK and moved to New York for a position at an international school. I have been teaching high school BIOLOGY for many years and now work as a full-time tutor. I have tutored students internationally in a range of BIOLOGY courses including, AP, International Baccalaureate, A-level and more. My two key priorities are to have great resources that visually bring the subject to life, and that my explanations are clear and simple. I have been teaching and tutoring for many years so I know how to flow with the needs of the student. I am able to adapt my style to fit each and every lesson. Every student is different and requires support in different areas, as well as having different learning styles. I am confident that my lessons will be effective and engaging.
