Having experience in both analytical and numerical methods of problem solving, I have accumulated many more ways of teaching math logically and rationally. Being country rank 3rd in Scholarship exam in Sri Lanka and best results for O/L s including Maths, Science, and ICT (All A passes), I've got excelled in all the areas of Maths. As well as these achievements, I've continuously participated and have won Mathematics quiz competition and got an honorable mention in Sri Lankan Olympiad Mathematics Competition. Thus, if anyone wants to have Olympiad preparations, I could do it as well.
My teaching approaches are as follows.
1. Personalized Learning: I wouldn’t love to have pre-defined lesson plans but rather adapt to each student's requirements and learning styles.
2. Interactive communication: Instead of just delivering lecturers, I would focus on a conversational approach, encouraging students to actively participate in the lesson.
3. Multiple Resources: I could access and provide various learning materials including Olympiad questions as required.
So, my lessons are conducted for year 7 to 10 students as I thought it is the exact period for building a good foundation in Maths. Usually, my typical length of a lesson is in between 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
