About Glory
Hi! I graduated from Wyoming High School from Cincinnati, Ohio. This fall, I will be attending Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design to major in International Relations at Brown and Fashion at RISD. I can speak both Korean and English fluently and because English is my second language as well, I have a good understanding of what it takes to master a foreign language. Students I have taught had significant improvements and learned to love learning the language.

I like to teach my classes by reading various interesting texts together. For beginners, I would start with short stories and for more advanced students, I would go for current news articles (CNN or The New York Times). As we read, I will go over all the unfamiliar vocabularies and expressions and teach you how to comprehend and summarize the contents. We will also discuss about the lessons/morals to be learned from the short stories or debate about controversial issues of the world dealt in the articles. Grammar will be tackled as we read whenever an unfamiliar concept appears. I can give small essay homework to utilize all the skills and information learned after having read different texts. The classes will always be engaging and most importantly fun!!
