About Elizabeth

I am a recent high-school leaver who has completed a University extension as well as VCE with a high ATAR. I have been a tutor for roughly 5+ years. My focus areas are in English and humanities subjects. I offer tutoring in primary school literacy and general homework help. As well as, 7-10 English and humanities and VCE English Language, Philosophy, Classical Studies, 20th Century History and History-Revolutions. I’ve studied Asian Media and Culture at RMIT and have a great understanding of communications and journalism. Additionally, I have undertaken an Introduction to Archaeology course. I’m dedicated to helping children reach not only their academic potential, but help them to build their confidence and expand their mindset on the world around them.

About the class

My methodology in regards to teaching and learning is that every child is different, and therefore, every child has different needs. I always do my best to connect with my students on a personal level! They key to great academic success is comfort and having a strong relationship with the person teaching you. I’m expirenced in online tutoring, and individual and group face-to-face methods of teaching.

Elizabeth and I went to high school together and she was always an extremely dedicated student towards her studies. She is very friendly and easy to get along with whilst also being very calm. Her ability to continue to earn high marks during a global pandemic and online learning further highlight her resilience and dedication. Elizabeth would make an excellent tutor due to her natural intelligence, amazing people skills, her drive to work and plan lessons in advance and her want for others to succeed.

She was so friendly and explained the things I was unsure of in such a good way! I usually worry about asking silly questions but she is so sweet. If I need tutoring again, I’ll definitely go to Elizabeth :)

Elizabeth is incredibly knowledgeable in all her fields. She nurtures confidence and has a genuine belief in the ability of all her students to excel. Highly recommended 10/10. Simply the best. Mentored me through all of VCE, was super professional and great rates, I would not have graduated without her help in philosophy, classical studies and revolutions. She made sure to pay attention to all my needs and went above and beyond so I'd get the best scores.
