It is interesting how varied the motivations are for those moving to Canada or entering prestigious universities. Many newcomer families arrive with specific goals for their professional and personal lives in this country. My role is to provide the structure that turns raw language ability into high level confidence.
This journey involves consistent practice and honest reflection on how language shapes our social interactions. I hold a BEd in Second Language Teaching which informs the practical, no nonsense methods used in our sessions. Seeing a student transition from hesitant speaker to confident presenter is the most rewarding part of this profession.
