About Chris
My name is Chris, I am an event medic with 15 years' experience in the sector. I have been in most roles within the ambulance service as well, enabling me to give a comprehensive depth of knowledge, which I bring into my lessons. I want to tutor in this field because I know what it is like to have to learn this subject in a short timeframe, and I want to use my skills both as a trainer and being hands on doing the job to help people become more confident to use the skills that they are learning.

My approach to tutoring in first aid is not to teach purely to what the manuals state, but also to teach you what you need to know to confidently use your new skills in a real emergency situation. My teaching comes from 15 years of experience in the first aid and ambulance sector, from working as a 999 call handler, to working frontline as ambulance crew.
