About Akshay
I am a Geography postgraduate from a leading institute (University of Delhi) i.e. 5 years of formal study. Moreover, being a UPSC Civil Services aspirant I spent additional time studying the discipline in depth. This preparation enabled me to develop the skills to teach History, Political Science, Sociology, etc. I also hold a teaching degree Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) where I learned about the teaching tools, pedagogical frameworks, curriculum design and sharpened my teaching skills during coursework. In addition to it, I have been an academic topper throughout my formal academic journey. So, I believe the students will get benefited from my vast experience and I can help them in achieving their dreams.

The focus in my classes will be on effective learning i.e. teaching in a way that leads to long-term retention of the concepts. Also, a mixed method teaching approaches and pedagogical tools are adopted that lay emphasis on holistic learning of the students. In addition to it, dedicated doubt sessions are available, subject-specific PDF notes are available which are designed in a manner to minimize student efforts. The advantage of studying under my supervision is that I also possess a technical teaching degree as well so I deeply understand the issues like hardships faced by learners, curriculum design, different teaching techniques ranging from teacher-centered to learner-centered. So, I look forward to connecting with young aspiration minds and support them in their academic journey.
