About Piyumi

I have completed my undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences and postgraduate studies in Molecular Life Sciences. I’ve been a lecturer in Biomedical Science degree program for 5 years and been a Biology tutor for advanced level for nearly 8 years. I follow effective teaching methods after assessing each student individually.

About the class

Lessons will be arranged online at your convenience. Lessons will be planned to approach each student individually and make sure that the student understands and is able to recall in order to outline their own answers. Teaching methods focus on skill development as well as subject knowledge

Piyumi has been teaching for almost 5 years now and every student that I interviewed who had learnt from Piyumi was extremely happy. They were taught with explanations that were close to them that made it easier for them to understand. As a good science and maths teacher for both school and university students I highly recommend her for all the future students as well.

Piyumi was one of the best tutors I've met and I'm pretty confident in saying that cuz there's only a handful. She helped me alot during my advanced level exams and within only a few weeks I noticed progress . What's great about her is how she pours in subject matter with various teaching styles understanding techniques that serve the student best. She also creates a safe space to make sure that at the end of each session questions and all doubts are clarified and that you're 100% ready. Highly recommend!
