I have been Teaching Mathematics at all levels (All the Key Stages, GCSE, GCE, undergraduate and postgraduate) for over 47 years and still deeply passionate about it.

Dr.Georgiou had been my math lecturer during Undergraduate at London South Bank University for three years. He was one of the kind, helpful and approachable lecturers at the faculty of Engineering. Dr.Georgiou was renowned in the faculty as a person who welcomes you with questions and gives appointments as soon as possible to assist students with their set of problems. As a student, when you raise problems, he spots them precisely to lead you in the right way towards solutions, no matter what level of knowledge you have.

Dr.Georgiou used to spend a lot of time and energy over tutorials to make sure that everyone’s happy with the contents. As we had solved a range of questions during tutorials, we were confident with math exams and were not overstressed like other engineering module tests at the end of semesters.

Despite my previous experiences, I do not remember tiredness at Dr.Georgiou’s lectures as he shows enjoyable ways of learning and practical understanding of mathematics. He tries to vary the learning disciplines to make them more pleasurable and perceivable for students.

Dr.Georrgiou is capable of handling big groups of students, at London South Bank University we had lectures consisting of 400 students in the same hall and Dr.Georgiou was always kindly and patiently responsive to people’s questions. Everyone was happy at the end the class.

I have to confess that I was not personally interested in mathematics until I attended Dr.Georgiou’s lecturers and received motivations to endlessly work on my math skills. At the end of each year, I achieved marks of 90, 96 and 100 out 100 respectively for engineering mathematics and modeling modules.

Besides his profound knowledge in mathematics, I deeply respect Dr.Georgiou for his amazing personality and great effort to transfer his knowledge generously to students and learners.

Georgios is a fantastic tutor - he tutored my son for 2 years and he just got A* in his GCSE! He is also tutoring my 13 year old daughter. He is always on time, patient with the children but ensures they cover the work they need. I would highly recommend him!

Georgios was my mathematics professor for two years whilst at university. I'm dyslexic and over the years I have had quite a few maths teachers. Georgios was the best! Georgios has a very advanced understanding of the history of mathematics and the history of mathematical developments i.e who discovered what. Georgios was able to tell us exactly the real world application of mathematics for each field or topic of mathematics he taught us. Georgios has a passion for mathematics and is very enthusiastic about teaching. Georgios always took his time and was able to break it all down and share with us. He could explain. His notes were succinct, easy to follow and on point. His command of the subject is undeniable. Georgios also made very few mistakes and errors. Remarkably, Georgios made us a promise, 'If you do all the work, you will definitely pass'. He was of course correct! I am supremely confident that Georgios was the best lecturer at our University and probably one of the best lectures in the country (not just mathematics).

Passionate about teaching is what comes to mind when I think about Georgios; I have never encountered a lecturer that was as enthusiastic about teaching as him.
I have known Georgios for 5 years now which dates back to my first year at university (London South Bank University). Since the first lecture I knew that Georgios was a great lecturer, but it was only 3 year later that I realised that he was by far the best lecturer I have ever encountered when he volunteered to help the entire mechanical engineering students group by giving us an extra lecture on any subject we needed help with. You don’t see that much these days!
No matter how difficult the subject, Georgios would explain it so well that it would seem easy and straight forward. I still remember when he taught us about Fourier Series in the last year, using real life examples to show us where we could apply all that we were learning.
Anyone would be lucky to have Georgios as a tutor.

Georgios was not only an excellent and committed tutor but he genuinely cared about his students - he was always over prepared for the lesson and had a fabulous way of connecting with my son without being intimidating but at all times commanding my sons respect. Georgios is thorough and extremely patient, we could not have asked more of him. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We found him to be a talented teacher who is passionate about his subjects and his integrity to get our son through his exams was refreshing. He is totally reliable.

Georgios is an excellent tutor, who really tries to understand the way his students think and tailor-makes his teachings to their character, needs and way of learning. He is passionate about Maths and this passion is passed on to all his students, through showing them tips and methods to make problems easier.

He is very engaging and easy to get on with, both from the student's perspective and from the parents, as well. He tutored my son for six years and he was always a pleasure to have in our home, well-organised and on time.

Georgios is a very talented and productive individual, he is a very trustworthy and proactive tutor. He is very good at delivering, analysing, problem solving, motivating students. I personally love maths and Georgios makes me want to know more.
