About Sarah
I am a freelancer, globetrotter and a so-called all-rounder, open-minded, friendly and empathetic. I have always loved working in direct contact with my fellow human beings, whether as a fundraiser for an environmentally friendly non-profit organization, as a recruiter, production assistant on TV, assistant to a manager, in the restaurant or as an ice cream pirate in the ice cream parlor. Besides traveling, my passion is yoga and the philosophy behind it. That means it goes beyond the edge of the mat. ;) I completed a 500-hour yoga and meditation teacher training course in Mexico, where I also gained my first teaching experience. I deepened my knowledge in India. In April 2021 I will do a 60-hour additional training in Yin Yoga and currently I am also in a preparatory course for examination by the Berlin Health Department to become a naturopath in psychotherapy.

My classes are based on classic hatha yoga, in which we use the various asanas (postures) to ultimately reach a state of contemplation and meditation. We relax because it is not about who gets the furthest or how to perform, the focus is more on the inner attitude of awareness, acceptance and neutrality. We connect with the energies that are more consciously perceptible through certain asanas, without getting lost in the energies. Who is aware of these energies? Can there be something in us that never changes and is very quiet and peaceful, contrary to our mind, our body and our emotional world?

Perfect! Nach mehreren Stunden, die meine Frau und ich (erstmal jeweils einzeln, bald schon vielleicht auch zusammen) bei Sarah hatten, können wir nur sagen, dass wir sehr zufrieden sind. Sarah strahlt Ruhe und Wärme aus, bereitet sich auf jede Stunde neu vor, beginnend mit unseren eigenen Wünschen und erweitert um die Erfahrungen/Erlebnisse jeder weiteren Stunde.
