About Marcella
Marcella is an artist of the movement graduated in Socio-psycho-pedagogy at the Romero Institute (Italy). She is also a graduate of the Faculty of DAMS in Theater and Performing Arts at the University of Bologna (Italy), Corpus Pilates and Yoga Wall (Brussels), Somatic Education by the Movement at the Institute of Body- Mind Centering® Passionate about teaching body well-being Marcella offers students suggestions to awaken sensory perception and connect with her own internal escapes muscles, organs, bones, fluids, ecc ... It integrates Fundamental skills of locomotions and bodily functions with contact dance improvisation, contemporary dance, hatha yoga and pilates. She teaches body awareness in several wellness and health areas in Belgium, Italy, France and Germany in French and Italian. Through its courses the students acquire an awareness of their body and after the courses feel more relaxed and happy. The day after the course often students can perceive new muscles around the waist and thighs, even around the shoulders. Students who practice with Marcella twice a week can observe changes in their walking, posture, flexibility and respiration, as well as in the nerve functions of the brain that become more dynamic and effective.
