About Gabrielle
For the past seven years, I have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of amazing students across all subject materials. As a Harvard graduate, I have had the best secondary education training, and the difficulty of the work really helped me to develop a passion for helping those in need succeed educationally. As my time in school taught me, most students never receive the necessary help to persevere through difficulties long enough to achieve their academic goals. This is where I can help any student excel. I have had the opportunity of working with all types of students, and my unique approach and teaching style that have honed over the years has drastically changed the academic outcomes for my students. I am able to help anyone overcome barriers and difficulties that they face in understanding subject material, and my caring, patient nature has allowed me to be a very effective tutor, especially in math and science on any level. I am always there for my students at any time of the day or night, so not only do they receive a tutor, but they also receive a personal mentor, guide, and friend to help steer them through the difficult waters of academic success. Currently, I am the Lead Mathematics Instructor for PB Prep, which is located in Los Angeles, and I personally travel throughout Los Angeles County to meet with my students. Prior to my current position, I was the lead math tutor for UCLA’s CBL program. Through that program, I gained my initial experience working with a wide variety of students of all levels, from those who were just struggling to pass all the way to helping students prepare for the ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, SAT, ACT, GED, GMAT, GRE, and other standardized exams, and those applying to post-secondary schools, graduate schools, and nursing schools. As a result of these different educational experiences, I have developed a strong desire to help students succeed. I have parlayed my unique skill set into one that is exemplary of an amazing tutor; however, I am also a tutor who cares. When working with a student, my goal is to help them succeed in academics, go on to achieve their dreams, and do so while becoming socially responsible citizens that leave the world a little better place for their being there.
