About Celia
I completed a Master’s Degree in Guitar Performance and Contemporary Music after years of studying live performance, composition, and advanced instrumental technique during my academic training. During the past 11 years, I have worked with students from many different musical backgrounds and experience levels, helping them improve through personalized guidance and supportive instruction. Teaching guitar allows me to combine creativity, mentorship, and musical communication in a deeply meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident musicians through artistic expression.
My teaching approach focuses on adaptability, patience, and balanced musical development. Some students improve best through structured repetition and technical exercises, while others respond more naturally to improvisation and creative exploration. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s personality, comfort level, and artistic goals. Along with technical improvement, I help students strengthen rhythm awareness, listening ability, expressive confidence, and performance readiness. Building a positive and encouraging learning environment remains one of my highest priorities as a teacher.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing guitar, exploring different music styles, and studying educational methods that help keep my lessons engaging and inspiring. Music remains an important source of creativity and emotional expression in my life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more expressive and self-assured through their musical growth. Helping learners enjoy music while building strong guitar skills continues to inspire me greatly.

Lessons also include ear training, fingerstyle practice, solo development, timing exercises, and musical interpretation activities that help students improve naturally over time. I create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting creatively while building confidence step by step. Every lesson supports structure, expression, and long-term musical growth together.
Beginners focus on tuning, posture, rhythm counting, and foundational chord progressions through organized exercises and patient instruction that build healthy playing habits. Intermediate learners improve expressive control, improvisation ability, fingerstyle coordination, and smoother musical transitions through guided practice and structured activities. Advanced students work on advanced rhythm techniques, solo interpretation, performance preparation, and stage confidence through detailed coaching sessions. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, musical interests, and confidence level so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Learning guitar should feel expressive, rewarding, and enjoyable. I encourage students to appreciate gradual improvement while building confidence through regular practice and supportive feedback. Many learners become more creative and independent as their musical understanding continues growing naturally over time.
