Hi! My name is Taylor, and I’m a dedicated and approachable tutor with a strong academic background in science and psychology. I’m 23 years old, grew up in Texas with four brothers (so I’m patient, adaptable, and very used to explaining things clearly), and I’m currently completing my Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, graduating in April. I maintain a 3.75 GPA in a rigorous STEM major and have extensive experience in biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, and related coursework. My academic journey began with AP and Honors classes in high school, which gave me a strong foundation in critical thinking, time management, and effective study strategies—skills I now pass on to my students.
As a tutor, my goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand the “why” behind the material. I focus on building confidence, strengthening fundamentals, and adapting my teaching style to each student’s learning needs. Whether a student is trying to catch up, get ahead, or prepare for exams, I strive to make challenging material feel manageable and clear.
