I graduated from Ithaca College with a BFA in Acting and a minor in Sociology. I was an actress in film, television, and commercials and spent several years performing Shakespeare in elementary school

I knew that Samara had spent her entire life dedicated to literacy and writing. She had been a writer’s agent for years, and so I knew I could trust her to help my son Brendan with his writing . Brendan despises writing, but with Samara’s help, guidance , and support she was able to get him to write well! Who knew he had it in him? She brought it out of him with her positive , “can-do” techniques . It wasn’t just about getting him to write well… her tutoring style gave him the confidence to try.
