About Andreas
My name is Andreas, I am 25 years old and I have a Master's degree in Biology, specializing in Neuroscience, and am currently a medical student. I have had the chance to work in major laboratories such as the Pasteur Institute, La Sorbonne and Trinity College in Dublin, in clinical and fundamental research. These experiences allow me to transmit a concrete and applied vision of science.
Passionate about challenges, both academic and sporting (I play American football and run), I like to share my knowledge and encourage my students to surpass themselves. I offer SVT and Physics-Chemistry courses from middle school to high school, with a clear, interactive approach adapted to each student, to help them progress serenely and regain confidence.
My goal is above all to restore confidence in my students and to make them understand and appreciate science by stimulating their curiosity.

As a private tutor, my approach is focused on adapting and personalizing teaching to meet the specific needs of each student. Here's how I do it:
1. Teaching Techniques and Methods
My method is based on an interactive and progressive approach. Before each lesson, I assess the student's strengths and weaknesses in order to adapt my teaching. My goal is to make complex concepts accessible through clear explanations, relevant analogies, and visual diagrams when necessary. I also encourage students to ask questions and think for themselves to develop their autonomy and confidence in their abilities.

Active method where the student is an actor in his learning (solving exercises, active participation), Visual and practical memory for scientific subjects (diagrams, experiments, concrete examples, acronyms).
2. Typical Course Outline
Quick review: We start with a discussion about the difficulties encountered in class or about the latest homework.
Reminder of concepts: I check understanding of the basics before tackling new subjects.
Course explanation: I explain the key concepts of the chapter to be worked on by simplifying and illustrating them.
Practical exercises: We apply the concepts covered through targeted exercises to consolidate what has been learned.
Correction and summary: I provide constructive feedback on the exercises, then a summary of the important points to remember.
Monitoring and preparation: I provide methodological advice to help you prepare for upcoming exams or tests.
3. Specificities as a Professor
My background in biology specializing in neuroscience, clinical research, and my status as a medical student give me a rigorous scientific approach and an ability to link the subjects taught to concrete examples from the world of health and research.
Scientific pedagogy: I always try to arouse the student's scientific curiosity by explaining how theoretical concepts manifest themselves in everyday life or medicine.
Personalized support: I adapt to each student, taking into account their pace, needs and objectives.
Effective working method: I also offer tips for better organization, time management and optimization of revisions.
4. Who are the courses for?
My courses are mainly aimed at middle and high school students:
SVT: From 6th to 12th grade (all streams).
Physics-Chemistry: From middle school to second or first year.
Students preparing for exams: Brevet and Baccalauréat, but also those wishing to improve their grades throughout the school year.
Level of specialization: I can also help students wishing to deepen their knowledge in specific areas such as molecular biology, neurobiology or subjects related to health.
My goal is not only to help students progress academically, but also to provide them with methodological tools that will help them succeed in their future studies.
