My Approach as a Tutor
I teach through guided inquiry. Rather than simply showing solutions, I ask students to explain their current understanding of a concept or problem. What a Typical Lesson Looks Like:
A typical session begins with a quick diagnostic discussion: the student explains what they know and where they’re stuck. We then:
1. Break the concept into its core physical ideas
2. Work through an example collaboratively
3. Practice with guided problems
4. Gradually move toward independent problem-solving
When helpful, I provide additional practice problems and structured worksheets designed to reinforce both conceptual reasoning and calculation skills.
