About Dinesh
I’m a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Auckland, teaching Master’s and Bachelor’s students, as well as a software engineer and IT consultant with a Master of Information Technology and over 10 years of industry experience.
I have worked across the full technology stack, from writing production-level Python applications to designing and deploying software and Artificial Intelligence solutions. I have also advised businesses on technology strategy, system development, and digital transformation.
I enjoy breaking down complex technical concepts into simple, practical steps that students can easily understand and apply. Teaching is my way of giving back, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing a student progress from writing their first line of code to confidently building their own projects.

My lessons are practical, personalised, and project-based. You will learn Python, programming, and Artificial Intelligence by building real projects from the beginning rather than simply watching presentations or memorising theory.
I start by understanding your goals, experience, and current skill level, then create a personalised learning roadmap. Lessons are suitable for complete beginners, university students, and professionals looking to develop their programming skills or move into Artificial Intelligence.
Each session combines clear explanations, hands-on coding, and practical examples based on my more than 10 years of industry experience. You will also receive practice exercises, code reviews, constructive feedback, and ongoing support to help you continue progressing between lessons.
Lessons are available in person across Auckland or online throughout New Zealand using screen sharing and interactive coding tools.
