About Edwin
I’m a Graduate Mechanical Engineer with a genuine understanding of how challenging exams can be. Throughout my own education, I found that having the right support and someone to explain things in a different way made a huge difference to my confidence and results.
I’ve also supported my younger sister and brother throughout their GCSE and A-Level/BTEC preparation, helping them understand difficult topics, prepare for exams and build their confidence. This has given me valuable experience in explaining concepts clearly and adapting my approach to different learning styles.
Now, I want to use my own experience to help other students.

My approach to tutoring is simple: I want you to understand the topic, not just memorise the answer. I’ll first understand what you’re struggling with and then break difficult topics down into simple, easy-to-follow steps. We’ll work through examples together before you tackle questions yourself, so you can build confidence as we go.
I also like to make lessons interactive and enjoyable, using real life examples where possible to show how what you’re learning actually applies outside the classroom. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, catching up on a difficult topic, or aiming for higher grades, I’ll adapt each lesson to your learning style and pace.
