About Lily
In college, I worked as a TA in both science and humanities courses. I loved working with my students until they understood the concept. I truly believe that everyone is smart, it’s just that sometimes the way we are taught material doesn't work for our brains. I’ve never had a student do poorly on an exam after coming to me for help. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. In addition to my bachelor's in BME, I have a minor in Sociology of Health. I understand the importance of a kind, helpful, and patient tutor. School can be difficult and overwhelming at times. I get it! I know how hard it can be. That’s why I make sure to be kind, patient, fun, and understanding of the person I’m working with. I prioritize understanding the learning style of whoever I am working with to make sure we can get the best results possible. I work well with neurodivergent (ADHD/ASD) folk, as well.
