Hi! I’m Aretha—a science researcher, SAT tutor, and classically trained singer with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students thrive. I’ve completed college-level coursework through NCSSM, interned with NASA, and was named a Regeneron Science Talent Search Scholar for my wet-lab biology research on tardigrades and aging. I also scored a 1520 on the SAT and was selected as a National Merit Finalist. I tutor elementary through high school students in math, biology, chemistry, SAT prep, and classical singing. My approach is flexible, student-centered, and grounded in proven learning techniques like active recall, spaced repetition, and the Feynman Technique.
