About Madeline
As someone who has gone through both undergraduate and graduate programs, I am familiar with instructors not understanding their students on a personal level. As a current lecturer at a local university, I strive for my students to feel comfortable with me to ensure they can reach out for any help needed. I have my Bachelor's degree in English and my Master's degree in Literature, the latter being from a fully online program, so I am familiar with the potential struggles of online learning. I love to teach and work with students to ensure they are set on the best academic path possible.

As someone who has worked with a variety of high school and college students, I love to alter my teaching methods to fit each student. In recognizing that each student has a different perspective, I enjoy working with them on an individual level, ensuring their needs are met within the classroom. I focus on discussion in conjunction with classic lectures to ensure students grasp the material and how it affects the rest of their education. I use a variety of texts to highlight the diversity in literature while maintaining the interest of students.
