About Joe
I am interested in the development of an architecture that respects the autonomy and agency of the individual whilst enabling collective action. I am interested in the way in which capital shapes our built environment and how architecture can be used as a tool to critically engage with this and provide alternative solutions.

My approach is to give you space to develop your own thoughts and ideas regarding architecture whilst challenging you to think differently about the process of making the built environment. Lessons would be in relation to any projects you currently have in progress, forming an extra tutorial session. If no work in progress I would give you a brief and ask that you develop a project that critically engages with it in a personal way.
