Hi! This is Flora Yuan. It's glad to meet you as a Mandarin tutor!
I am now an international student doing master of Environment in the University of Melbourne and just finished my undergraduate course as Environmental Engineering in Northeastern University. So if you have some ideas or problems related to environment, we can also discuss about that.
Precisely, I am also qualified with the Mandarin level certificate in H2A as well as IELTs test score as advanced (C1 level) so that means I can speak and teach Mandarin in a fluent and clear way. Besides, I've also got many teaching experiences online therefore I am able to master various of electrical teaching tools to enrich our class.
I have a sufficient background in language learning for example I've also learned Japanese as well. And I also gain the experience teaching Mandarin to a diverse range of students.

My teaching approach is mainly customized by each unique student's learning style, pace and goals.
1. Focusing on personal needs: caring for whether they are learning Mandarin for business, traveling or cultural appreciation.
2. Interactive Sessions: plenty of opportunities to practice speaking and listening. I use multimedia resources, including videos, audio clips, and online tools, to create a dynamic learning environment.
3. Continuous Feedback and Adaptation.
4. Cultural Integration: Understanding a language goes hand in hand with understanding its culture. I integrate cultural insights into my lessons, offering students a richer understanding of the language and its context.
Length of our lesson: Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes. This length allows us to cover material in depth without overwhelming the student, and provides ample time for practice.
