About Hutton
Hey! I'm Hutton Stiller, a classically trained mezzo-soprano from Fort Worth, Texas, currently pursuing a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at Louisiana State University. I have earned my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music, where I performed in numerous opera productions and developed a strong foundation in vocal artistry and pedagogy.
I have performed with organizations including Eastman Opera Theatre, Friends of Eastman Opera, Fort Worth Opera, and LSU Opera. My most recent roles include covering Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro, performing Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel, and appearing as the Third Woodsprite in Rusalka. I am passionate about both performance and teaching, with a strong commitment to helping singers develop healthy vocal technique, musical confidence, and expressive artistry.
Beyond classical music, I enjoy exploring country, jazz, pop, and R&B styles, reflecting my diverse musical interests and Texas roots. Following the completion of my graduate studies, I plan to return to Texas to pursue a career as both a performer and vocal educator by getting certified to teach, inspiring the next generation of musicians through excellence in performance and compassionate teaching.

In my lessons, I would begin by teaching vocal warm-ups and gradually building each student’s repertoire. I would also incorporate sight-reading exercises while focusing on proper breath support, vocal technique, and strategies for sustaining long phrases with control and ease. Additionally, I would help students develop healthy vocal habits by ensuring they avoid unnecessary tension and do not push their voices, as these habits can lead to vocal strain or injury.
